Therapy tailored for Haitian Americans.
Hi, I’m Stephanie, I am a licensed mental health therapist dedicated to bringing healing and change in the Haitian American community. After noticing recurring instances in which “map korije w” is used to compel good behavior without understanding the underlying issues of some behaviors, I was moved to create a space where our community can learn, heal, and build healthy relationships together. Whether it’s anxiety, toxic communication patterns, or cultural identity challenges, I’m here to support you in navigating life and fostering personal, relational, and familial growth.
Emphasizing empathy and collaboration, my therapeutic approach builds genuine connections with clients.

Healing Our Parental Experiences
Contact us if you’re interested in being part of the Beta test for HOPE: Healing Our Parental Experiences. Studies show that our childhood experiences have a tremendous impact on our adult lives, HOPE was created to help Haitian adults ages 18-45 understand and heal from parental wounds. Maybe you were raised by controlling parents and now as an adult, you identify as a perfectionist or an overachiever who is highly self-critical and find it hard to be in touch with your emotions. Or maybe you had a parent who was passive in raising you believing that as long as a roof was provided you were cared for and now in your adult life, you can come off as cold and distant despite your need to be loved. If you’ve wondered how your relationship with your parents has shaped you and are interested in learning about parental wounds and how to heal from them, contact us below:
